Warhorse SCUBA Inc was founded on the knowledge that every day, 22 US Military Combat Veterans commit suicide. Furthermore, several studies have been conducted that determined SCUBA diving has positive effects on personnel suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, C-Spine Injuries, and other disabilities. Throughout the certification process, all participants will also be taught how to be excellent stewards of the underwater environment. Warhorse SCUBA provides additional opportunities of social interaction for our combat veterans with further SCUBA and general aquatic activities such as; local and abroad SCUBA diving trips, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, fishing trips, beach bonfires and more!
By purchasing Coffee or Hot Chocolate during this fundraising campaign, $5 of the $12 price directly benefits the WAR HORSE SCUBA.
The Coffee Platoon sales also funds Bridging the Gap and the military community with Career Transition Programs and Services, providing our Back the Blue Scholarships to veterans who are in the police academy and a local Hometown Hero program with gift cards. In addition, Operation Suit Up Retail Store providing professional business attire to any veteran or military dependant who needs suits for career interviewing or a special event.
