In the summer of 1882, while vacationing at the Jersey Shore, Rev. Charles A. Knox, D.D., a Presbyterian minister from Elizabeth, New Jersey, invited local families to gather for worship in his summer home. Just a few months later, on October 22, 1882, the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church was formally organized—coinciding with the incorporation of the community of Point Pleasant Beach.
Today, we continue that legacy of faith, fellowship, and service with our special coffee fundraiser.
For every $15 purchase of coffee or hot chocolate, $5 goes directly to support the mission programs and outreach services of our church. Each purchase also comes in a beautifully crafted burlap bag—perfect for reuse or as a keepsake.
Your support doesn’t stop there.
A portion of proceeds also benefits Bridging the Gap for Veterans, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides career assistance, scholarships, and pet adoption programs for our military veterans and their families.
